If you would like your laptop repaired, fill out this editable pdf repair form print and include in box with laptop, the shipping address is also on the form. Package up your laptop then ship to Notebook Tek, ATTN: Repair Dept, 2077 Lakeville Rd, Avon, NY 14414. Once we receive your laptop you will be assigned a customer ticket number, we then process and repair your laptop within 72 hours or less (video repair only, other repairs may take longer) We will contact you when your laptop is repaired to arrange payment via credit card or paypal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. Please read our terms and conditions page.
There is no need to prepay however if you would like to pay ahead of time, use the order repairs page to purchase the repair of your choice, then simply follow the instructions in the email you receive after your order. We make the repair order process as simple as possible, this is how it works, simply find the repair you are looking for on the list below, add to cart, then checkout with your credit card, after checkout is made you will receive an email with a repair form (this form must be mailed with the laptop in order for us to complete the repair) Our facility shipping address is located on the form. Then you simply package up the laptop and ship it to us, after we receive your laptop we process within 48 hours and email with a delivery confirmation, the repair will commence within 24hrs of processing. We take care of the return shipping for free! Turnaround time is approx 6-12 days from the time you ship to the time it arrives back at your door!
All online orders are processed instantly. All repair orders include return shipping. You are only responsible for shipping the laptop to our repair facility, we have prepaid FedEx labels for purchase if needed, they are $17.99.
For the laptop video repair and dc jack repair you ship the entire laptop to us, we disassemble, repair, test then reassemble for the quoted price. Please do not include the battery or power cord. We encourage you to ship your hard drive for us to rule out any windows related issues and run a full stress test.
We also have a special price for Motherboard Only repairs, this is for tech's or professionals as we do not recommend you disassemble your laptop, we are highly trained in this field and take the utmost care when disassembling and reassembling your laptop.
Actual turnaround time from the day you ship your laptop to us, to the day it comes back to you is approximately 6-12 days. We process your order within 24-48 hours of receipt, the repair commences within 12 hours of processing and return shipping 12 hours after successful repair. Your laptop normally spends 72 hours or less in our facility before being shipped back to you. In most cases it spends 48 hours or less in our facility before being shipped back to you. (certain factors can affect actual repair times such as stock part availabilities, holidays etc)
We offer a 60 day warranty on all video repair, excluding laptops that have had previous repair attempts, in this case we will still repair your laptop however will not offer any Warranty what-so-ever under any circumstance. Also we run a stress test after repair to determine the likelihood of another failure, we need your hard drive to do so, if the hard drive is not included with the laptop we will not offer a warranty.
We use FedEx Ground solely for return shipping. All items are insured against damage. Typical transit times are as follows, East Coast 1-3 days, Midwest 1-3 days, West Coast 4-5 days. Please note, we do not pay for incoming shipments under any circumstances. However we always pay for return shipping to you.
